I’m devastated. I woke up this morning with a full blown upper respiratory infection. My voice simply will not work for speaking let alone allow me to sing at the level I need to in order to perform properly for you guys. And so, I’m forced to postpone Monday’s show in Kitchener. The new date for Kitchener on the GET LOUD Tour will be December 10th. I am deeply, deeply sorry. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay healthy while on tour, but as I’ve found out, sometimes when something hits you, it hits you hard and there’s nothing you can do but let it run its course. I promise to bring you the show you deserve on December 10th and can’t wait to GET LOUD with you all then!
Due to illness, Tim Hicks' Get Loud Tour at Centre In The Square in Kitchener on Nov. 12 is postponed to Monday, December 10. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Tickets for the original show will be honored, however, if you are unable to attend the new date you may receive a refund at the Centre In The Square box office.
2018 Apple Music Fans’ Choice Award nominee and multi-platinum, award winning entertainer Tim Hicks announced today that he will turn up the heat this winter on his national headlining “Get Loud Tour” making a stop in Kitchener on November 12. Tim Hicks will appear along with special guests Tebey, and Madeline Merlo at Centre In The Square.
Tebey is a 31 year-old multi-genre songwriter and artist. He is currently signed to BMG Chrysalis Music Publishing in Los Angeles and RAE/Warner Music Canada. Although he grew up in the Toronto area, he now calls Nashville home.
Tebey signed his first record deal with RCA Records Nashville at just 18 years old and paired up with the most powerful music team a teenager could dream of, including Bruce Allen (mgmt.), William Morris Agency and both Bob Rock (Bon Jovi, Motley Crue), and Byron Gallimore (Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Sugarland) as producers. The relationship with RCA lasted 4 years and produced a top 40 US single and gave Tebey his first-ever Top 5 single in Canada with “We Shook Hands” (Man To Man). However, not long after, Tebey parted ways with the label, but happily went onto spend the next half decade behind the scenes as a songwriter working with some of the best in the business.
As a songwriter Tebey is responsible for numerous hit singles and has had his songs recorded by everyone from pop artists One Direction, Fifth Harmony, FLO RIDA, The Veronicas, Shawn Desman and Cher, to country artists like Justin Moore, Big & Rich and Emerson Drive.
CCMA Award and two-time BCCMA Award winning artist, Madeline Merlo, is set to release a brand-new, fun, upbeat track, “Neon Love” this spring. The single will be made available across all digital platforms on April 27 and released to Canadian Country Radio on May 2. The song comes following the success of “Motel Flamingo”, which flew up the charts to land Top 10 at Canadian Country Radio, securing Merlo’s 4th top 15th single.
In 2017, Merlo went out on the road to open for Dean Brody on his epic Beautiful Freakshow Tour, taking to the stage to perform in 14 cities. She was also the only female artist nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards and has currently amassed more than 4 million streams of her hits on Spotify.
This summer, Merlo is set to perform at festivals across the country, including Sound of Music Festival (ON), Centrefield Music Festival (AB), Boots and Hearts Festival (ON), Penticton Peach Festival (BC), and more.__
Madeline Merlo has always had eclectic taste, and in her music you’ll hear the influence of classic country of artists like Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, R&B greats Etta James and Billie Holiday and modern superstars such as Miranda Lambert. She has contributed to Sparkle: An Inspirational Handbook for Young Girls, which features interviews with female artists, entrepreneurs and public figures in British Columbia. She’s also performed for the Canadian Armed Forces as part of Team Canada, a small group of Canadian ambassadors from the sports, music and entertainment industries visiting Sicily, Italy, and an operations base in Kuwait.
Closer to home Merlo is a champion of local artisans and is passionate about promoting new designers. She’s an ambassador for Wear Your Label, a conscious clothing line that creates conversations about mental health. Her boho, free-spirited style as unique as her sound.
