Below is a sample of programs available if you would like to make a donation. A full tax receipt will be issued for all contributions to Centre In The Square.
Community Ticket Program
Community Ticket Program Sponsor
The Community Ticket Program provides complimentary tickets to local social service agencies, charities and youth organizations on an annual basis. The goal of the program is to introduce the performing arts to young people and individuals who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend one of our performances.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, foundations and corporations, Centre In The Square has distributed over 2,600 tickets with a value over $100,000 to local agencies since the launch of this program in 2005.
Each year a different set of social service agencies serving families and individuals within Waterloo Region will be chosen to receive tickets. Centre In The Square continues to fundraise for this important community program and hopes to be able to distribute even more complimentary tickets in the coming seasons.
Access2Entertainment and CNIB
We welcome all patrons with disabilities, and those who are accompanied by a support person. A support person is an individual hired or chosen by a person with a disability to provide services or assistance with communication, mobility, personal care, medical needs or access to goods or services.
Through our Community Access Programs, we are able to provide limited, complimentary admission tickets for one support person accompanying a patron who has a valid CNIB card or an Access2Entertainment card.
You may have any name(s) engraved onto a plaque to be permanently installed on the armrests of one of the seats in the theatre!
Dedicating a seat is a great way to…
- Give a unique gift
- Honour someone special
- Commemorate a special occasion
- Leave a legacy
