Weekend Arts Around Town (November 27 – 29)

Don’t know what to do this weekend? If you’re not heading to The Centre this weekend for Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony: Bruckner’s Romantic Symphony, or Youth Orchestra Program we’ve got a few ideas:

November 27 & 28 @7.30PM
UW A Cappella Club Fall 2015 EOT Concert
Theatre of the Arts, Modern Languages
University of Waterloo’s a cappella groups will be putting their big end-of-term concert this Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm! This will be a phenomenal concert and will include some of the a cappella groups that went to the ICCA competition this year (the very same one from Pitch Perfect).

Saturday, November 28 @ 10AM – 4PM
Christmas In The Village
Belmont Avenue West, Kitchener
Head over to Belmont Village for the annual Christmas in the Village event! There will be wagon rides, kid’s activities and much more. Say hello to Santa and bring a donation for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and canned & non-perishable food items for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

Saturday, November 28
The Havana Dialogues
THEMUSEUM
The Havana Dialogues explores the unique Cuban Canadian relationship over the past seventy years. The photography based exhibition will feature two black and white photography collections; the first on loan from the Cuban Embassy in Ottawa, and the second a series by Canadian photographer Nick Devlin. The Dialogues are a series of speakers, performances and films.
