IT FALLS WITH THE RAIN

An inspiring and provocative Contemporary Eco-Dance performance with all the feels - anxiety, joy and humour -  about climate change, micro-plastics and how we make our way through the mix. IT FALLS WITH THE RAIN has been created by Tara Butler, Artistic Director of Dust and Soul Dance Projects. Tara began her career with The National Ballet of Canada after graduating from the National Ballet School. As the celebrated Principal dancer for Ballet Jorgen, she has danced many lead roles including Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia and The Nutcracker. As a Guest Performer, Tara has toured internationally with The Hong Kong Ballet, Banff Festival Ballet, The Miami International Ballet Festival among others. A gifted choreographer, Tara now turns the conversation to climate change using the language she knows best - dance.  Featuring Willem Sadler, Jianna Neufeld, AYA Belsheim, Viktoria Kamenyiczky, Kate Kamo McHugh and Tara. This is the premiere performance of a workshop presentation. Premiering on International Women's Day,  IT FALLS WITH THE RAIN is the Opening Event of Femme Folks Fest 2024.
