Kinder Performing Arts Summer Camp

ONE WEEK PROGRAM
Available between July 7 – August 29

This program is an ideal entryway for establishing skills in the performing arts for 4-5-year-olds. Campers bring a favourite storybook to life while participating in activities such as movement games, dancing, singing, crafts, and other fun. Kinder Theatre Camp culminates in a performance in the studio theatre on the last day of camp for family and friends to attend. Each week is a different story/show.

Age Range: 4–5 years old
(Minimum age: 4 years before the program start date)

Note: Campers must be parent-independent to participate, assistance will not be provided for personal hygiene from the camp staff.


Junior Stars Performing Arts Summer Camp

TWO-WEEK PROGRAM
Available between July 7 and August 29

This program is a unique opportunity for your children to experience a fun-filled introduction to performing arts basics, on the biggest stage in the region! Budding performers ages 6-8 act, sing, and dance in a fun, inclusive, and friendly environment. Directed by professional performing artists, children become part of the ensemble and learn theatre techniques such as improvisation, characterization, creative movement, memorization, projection, and more. This program also includes playtime, games, crafts, and other fun! Children will make new friends, build confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork.
The junior stars camp culminates in a live, fully-staged Broadway Jr. show on the prestigious main stage at the Centre In The Square.

Age Range: 6–8 years old

Centre Stage Performing Arts Summer Camp

TWO-WEEK PROGRAM
Available between July 7 and August 29

Experience the Centre In The Square big stage as international stars do! This enchanted program is designed for ages 9-12 to gain experience on the big stage as international stars do in performance and creative processing skills in the Performing Arts. Directed by professional performing artists, participants will step into the spotlight to learn lines, cues, blocking, choreography, and singing, as well as various theatre and cinematic techniques such as scene work, character development, improvisation, and more. Participants will make new friends, build confidence and composure, and learn the importance of teamwork!
The Centre Stage camp culminates in a live, fully-staged show created Broadway Jr. show on the prestigious main stage at the Centre In The Square.
