Grand Philharmonic Choir presents Haydn: The Creation, a thrilling celebration of our beautiful planet and all the life it holds.
From the darkness and chaos before creation to the rising sun, the arrival of animals, and the tender duet of Adam and Eve, Haydn’s beloved oratorio is filled with vivid musical imagery and wonder. Based on the Book of Genesis, The Creation can also be experienced today as a powerful homage to the beauty, variety, and fragility of the natural world.
Performed with full choir, outstanding soloists, and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, this concert brings Haydn’s masterpiece to life in the resonant acoustic space of the concert hall.
