Venue Protocols

Centre In The Square is currently operating at 100% capacity, and there is no general requirement for attendees to have received full COVID-19 vaccination.

Centre In The Square is looking forward to welcoming you back to our theatre, and the safety of audiences, staff, artists, and crew is our top priority. The following are the measures that are currently in place.

Face Coverings

There is no requirement for attendees at Centre In The Square to wear face masks.

Please note that even in the absence of regulations requiring mask wearing, Centre In The Square supports the ability for anyone to choose to wear a mask.

Please note: Some events may retain a face-covering requirement at the request of the event organizer/artist.

Contactless Ticketing

Mobile/print at home tickets will be the preferred method of delivery. We have installed tap-and-go / self-serve ticket scanners at entry points for quick and seamless entry into the venue. When choosing mobile ticketing for contact tracing / quick entry into future events text/email transfer each person in your party a ticket in advance or ensure each person has their own printed ticket. Sanitization Protocols / Ventilation

The facility is cleaned before each event using traditional cleaning methods and electrostatic sanitization sprayers.

Ventilation systems have been set to maximize the amount of air exchanges in the building. Systems are being maintained regularly to ensure they are running as designed. 

Contactless Concessions

Centre In The Square has installed the CLOVER POS system throughout the venue for quick and easy transactions & contactless purchases. 

Parking

Until further notice valet parking has been discontinued. Premium parking is available for purchase through KWtickets (subject to availability).

The City of Kitchener operates parking on the Otto Street side of the venue which is the closest place to park for shows. Parking is 12$ (cash only) in this lot. No Re-Entry

Centre In The Square is committed to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons at the theatre.

Once a ticketed guest has been scanned into an event, there will be no in-and-out privileges and no re-entry will be permitted after exiting any door. This no re-entry policy is in effect for all ticketed events.

Guests with emergencies will be assisted by Centre In The Square staff at the front lobby Guest Services office.

Smoking

There is no smoking or vaping permitted anywhere on Centre In The Square property.
