Celebrate the wonder and light of Christmas with And There Was Light, a moving cantata filled with rich orchestrations, soaring choral writing, and moments of joyful audience participation.
This inspiring and festive performance journeys from hopeful prophecies foretelling the coming “Light of the World” to the triumphant joy of Christ’s birth. Audiences will hear beloved carols, including O Come All Ye Faithful and Silent Night, contemporary favourites such as Mary, Did You Know?, and powerful original music by composers Joseph Martin, Dan Goeller, and others.
Hosted by Historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, this special Christmas program features narration, the KW Circuit Handbell Choir, vocal soloists, and a 100+ voice community choir accompanied by the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra in the iconic Centre In The Square.
